Graziano Salvalai

Graziano Salvalai is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches the courses of Energy Efficient Buildings and Technology of Building Components. He is the scientific director of the Building Energy Efficiency (BEE) Team and responsible of the BEEpilot.

He is the scientific director of several funded projects and consultancies, and author of more than 100 publications. His research focuses on innovative construction techniques, on the building-systems integration and on its control through energy simulation tools.

Marta Maria Sesana

Assistant Professor

Marta Maria Sesana is Assistant Professor at University of Brescia, where she teaches the course of Building Performance Engineering for Master’s students. As part of the Building Energy Efficiency (BEE) Team, she is the technical responsible of the BEEpilot as scientific external consultant.

She is author of several publications on deep renovation for existing building, modeling and simulation and human-centered sustainability, regulations and tools for innovation, and energy efficiency in the built environment.

Diletta Brutti

Diletta Brutti is a Ph.D. Student at Politecnico di Milano. Her thesis and research focuses on the testing, monitoring and upscaling of human-centric and energy-efficient multi-layer dry envelope solutions. In Politecnico di Milano she also provides support for teaching activities in the courses of Energy Efficient Buildings and Technology of Building Components. She is part of the Building Energy Efficiency (BEE) Team and, within that, she collaborates on both research and consultancy activities.

Martha Caramia

Martha Caramia is a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where she provides support for teaching activities in the course of Energy Efficient Buildings. She is part of the Building Energy Efficiency (BEE) Team and, within that, she collaborates on both research and consultancy activities.

Grazia Marrone is a Ph.D. Student at Politecnico di Milano. Her thesis and research focuses on the analysis and implementation of integrated technological solutions for energy-efficient building envelopes based on industrialized metal sandwich panels. As part of the VELUXlab Team and the Building Energy Efficiency (BEE) Team, she collaborates on both research and consultancy activities.
